Don't ever be afraid to share your pain with someone when God nudges your heart. It could be that He is leading you to share with that person for a reason.
You might be surprised to find out that they are the one that understands the most. What you share with them might not just make your heart lighter, but it could be meant to show them that they are not alone either! After all, God knows that person's heart just as well as He knows yours.
God often leads people to cross paths for just such a purpose.
He never intended for us to walk alone or else why would he create so many of us? It is our lack of trust and our insecurities that thwart the comfort of intimate and meaningful friendship. Sometimes He has placed it right in front of us if only we choose to see.
So often we pray for a friend to share life with when we feel lonely, unloved, and misunderstood. God gives us that gift every day but we must accept it to have it! Will you share with someone today or will you continue to live on an island in a sea of potential friends?
